A lot of the best outdoor stories are told by people who have never made a film. Our mentorship program exists so that a first film has a real shot.
How it works
We pair first-time filmmakers with industry pros. [Program length, meeting format and what mentors help with.]
The workshop
During festival weekend we run a small-group outdoor filmmaking workshop with working adventure filmmakers. Space is limited.
After the festival
Past selections stay connected through the Wasatch alumni network, and selected films become eligible for tour stops, Brews & Views and the streaming archive.
