Of The Black Sea

Synopsis

Join Turkic-American pro-skier, Giray Dadali, on his journey to answer a life-long question: Which has a greater influence; the heritage from which you descended or the culture in which you were raised?

As Giray embarks on a new chapter of life, the film follows him to his father’s homeland of Türkiye where he looks to discover more about his place in the world and which elements of the Turkish culture to carry forward.

Of The Black Sea is more than a ski film; it’s a powerful exploration of heritage, breaking cultural barriers, and fostering understanding of what it means to be a Dadali, and what it means to be Turkish.
